I'm dedicating this article to my friend Craig Donaldson who asked me why I wasn't featuring a UFO category. As a professional golfing coach on the Costa Blanca, he must have had plenty of opportunity to spot those little critters sweeping across our skies. It would appear that we look to the skies for many other things besides UFOs. We look up for inspiration and for divine help. Our young Hugo in "The Meadow" uses the skies and the heavens to use the constellations as one of his schematics for calculating his next move and for helping others who are close to him.
UFO - Real?
By Keith Fiala
When I was a kid, I was introduced to the idea of UFOs, space aliens and the possibility of our planet being visited by Steven Spielberg's 1977 classic film "Close Encounters of the Third Kind". I didn't understand the Government cover up plot but I did understand how exciting and scary this prospect was. As I grew older, anytime a TV show came on talking about this possibility, I was immediately captivated... especially if there were any real stories being told about eyewitness accounts, sightings, etc. This did not drive me to become a Ufologist, but it does peak my curiosity. And apparently, I'm not alone. Throughout the world, UFOs and all that goes along with it is pretty interesting stuff to even the most hard nosed person. Whether you're a total skeptic, a believer or have actually witnessed this type of event, it's fascinating.
Several years ago (when gas was MUCH cheaper) I was on my way back home from Los Angeles, California and had noticed that if I routed myself correctly I could end up going through Roswell, New Mexico... North America's very own controversial hotbed for aliens and was supposedly the crash site of a UFO in 1947. I arrived on a Sunday evening and most of the town was closed up. I have to admit that I only ate dinner in the small town and didn't stay as I was more intrigued at the time of seeing the town vs. staying there. But it did spark a curiosity in me that will take me back there again someday to spend some time because the residents believe that it truly happened and was covered up by our own Government... it also sparked my curiosity in the subject again.
When I get a chance to watch a program or read a book on this topic, I usually give it 15 minutes. If it seems to be filled with more skeptics than facts, I lose interest quickly. Earlier this year in Stephenville, Texas there were multiple sightings by credible eyewitnesses that were both intelligent enough to know the difference between a bird, plane and some Government bull-crap and a gas cloud caused by some other anomaly! This kind of rhetoric and the excuses they offer (weather balloons, etc) are a joke!
If this subject intrigues you as it does me, I encourage you - from one believer to another - find out all you can. The Government can't have control!

THE MEADOW -- A SPIRITUAL ROMANCE
"The Meadow" is an epic love story unlike anything told before. The storyline threads an earthly path through four life times, from ancient Mexica to contemporary Pakistan, and affords the reader glimpses of a place known as "The Meadow" - an inter-life waterhole where souls rest between lives.
This is a story about life and all its complexities. It is about the eternal love of two characters that seem destined to be together but who repeatedly fail to bond due to a nemesis that tracks them from life to life, tearing them apart.
The stage of "The Meadow" includes hate and retribution, international espionage and political deceit, interspersed with the brilliance of an autistic savant, offspring of the female protagonist, who tries to solve the secret and mystery of the eagle in order to save his mother.
The frustrated lovers thus have only one option - to unite in the Meadow - a place they forget all about each time they incarnate into a new life.
This site is dedicated to "The Meadow", a book of more than 600 pages and has yet to be published, but it is also devoted to sharing information about life beyond the trapdoor of death, inviting the reader to question everything, from dogmatic beliefs to the establishment.
