It is said that Indigo children refer to a belief that some children, especially those born after the late 1970s, represent a higher state of human evolution. The term itself is a reference to the belief that such children have an indigo coloured aura. It is believed that they mostly have paranormal abilities such as mind reading. More importantly Indigo children have extraordinary traits such as increased empathy and creativity. Meet Hugo in "The Meadow" - a brilliant child, a savant with an extraordinary ability to comprehend the interconnectedness of the universe! He is an Indigo child for sure and the Meadow tells the story of his talents and his special gifts. -- Elfreda Pretorius and Mike O'Hare
THE INDIGO CHILDREN -- are they here?
By Mike O'Hare
There are two certainties regarding the Indigo Child. Either it is here or it isn't. This author is no authority on the subject and judging by the amount of articles that cover this subject I can only surmise that there is a collective consciousness out there which is gathering momentum by the second.
You won't find much publicity in orthodox areas regarding this subject. My opinion is that the Establishment is already in control and wielding its mighty power by ensuring that its media arm is doing exactly what it is told.
So let's look at the possibility that this is all some kind of hype -- conjured up by the controlling forces which tells governments and the media what to do. This then becomes very subjective and leaves us with our emotions and our fears to lead us down that road whereby we compartmentalise and shelve everything that we hear. This happens all the time; our hopes are built up with some false promise. Following that there is a lull in world events.
At the moment the western world and Asia are suffering the effects of recession -- a great move by the Establishment to gather in the flock. Before that we had scares with health such as bird flu and resistant viruses and bugs. They have to do something to keep us where they want and scaremongering is the number one strategy. They cannot afford to see us use our power.
Along with spiritual matters, UFOs, althernative health, conspiracies and future science -- these are all matters dealt with by the media, and telling us that there is no truth in any of it. Instead just let the authorities continue to think for the masses. This is what they want and apathy is the greatest weapon that is held in the Establishment's armoury. So why believe in the Indigo Child?
In my opinion, evolution happens constantly. There is for ever change happening and as the world heads for the biggest crash since the dinosaur age, it is logical to assume that something has to give. Planet Earth can no longer afford to let itself be robbed of its lifeblood with no intention by man to replace that what he plunders.
The fastest change in mankind's consciousness since his neanderthal days has happened since the industrial revolution. Unfortunately this was not a spiritual change; rather the opposite. It is now time for humankind to take full responsibilty for its actions. For those who cannot or will not, they will suffer the wrath of natural laws, and cause and effect will determine the outcome.
I believe there are two kinds of facilitators who will bring word to the populace. One of them could be you or I as we give voice to the possibility of such changes. The other one could possibly be the Indigo Child.
THE MEADOW -- A SPIRITUAL ROMANCE
"The Meadow" is an epic love story unlike anything told before. The storyline threads an earthly path through four life times, from ancient Mexica to contemporary Pakistan, and affords the reader glimpses of a place known as "The Meadow" - an inter-life waterhole where souls rest between lives.
This is a story about life and all its complexities. It is about the eternal love of two characters that seem destined to be together but who repeatedly fail to bond due to a nemesis that tracks them from life to life, tearing them apart.
The stage of "The Meadow" includes hate and retribution, international espionage and political deceit, interspersed with the brilliance of an autistic savant, offspring of the female protagonist, who tries to solve the secret and mystery of the eagle in order to save his mother.
The frustrated lovers thus have only one option - to unite in the Meadow - a place they forget all about each time they incarnate into a new life.
This site is dedicated to "The Meadow", a book of more than 600 pages and has yet to be published, but it is also devoted to sharing information about life beyond the trapdoor of death, inviting the reader to question everything, from dogmatic beliefs to the establishment.
There are many related articles here and we hope that there will be something for everyone. We hope to encourage communication and discussion between likeminded individuals willing to share their experiences to further our common goals of advancement into the future whilst learning from each other.
